Houphan Prov., Xon Distr., Nong Hua Pa Noi village, around point 20°13'02.1''N 103°24'23.3''E. Primary and secondary broad-leaved evergreen forest on very steep rocky mountain slopes composed by shaly limestone at elev. 1100-1200 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on shady tall tree. Flowers bright yellow. Locally very common.

Kham Mouan Prov., Bounlapha Distr., Thong Sam village, Hinnam No Protected Area, Pu Pha Song Mt. composed by sandstone, around point 17°35’13.2”N 105°47’49.8”E. Primary and secondary evergreen broad-leaved and mixed forest on W macroslope at elevation from 500 m to the mountain top elevated to 1425 m. Tree to 40 m tall and to 1.2 m DBH. Very common at elevations 500-800 m.

Keteleeria evelyniana Mast.

Champasak Prov., Paxong Distr., Lac 15 village, NNW part of Bolovens Plateau, around point 15°11’15.2”N 106°22’36.2”E at elevation about 1200 m. Remnant trees to 20 m tall on coffee plantation. Totally about 20 trees were observed in point of observation. It was a common tree in native broad-leaved evergreen forests before land area exploration for coffee plantations.

Vietnam, Lam Dong Prov., Lac Duong Distr., Da Chais Municipality, around point 12º08’31’N 108º39’01’’E, at elevation 1400-1500 m a.s.l. Open grassy woodlands with Pinus kesiya on hill slopes. Solitary trees 25-30 m tall on open river slope. Rare.

N.Vietnam, Bac Kan Prov., Na Ri Distr., Liem Thuy Municipality, village Na Bo, around point 21º56'44''N, 106º05'09''E, at elevation 300-700 m a.s.l. Primary broad-leaved evergreen closed wet forest on very steep slopes and cliffs of rocky ridges and mesae composed with white solid marble-like crystalline limestone.

Tree up to 30 m tall and 1.5 m in diam, about 500 years old (on rings calculation) on tops of ridge. Common. Occasional co-dominant of fragments of coniferous forest on tops of ridge. Cones erect about 15

cm long and 3-4 cm in diam.

Lam Dong Province, the border of Lac Duong and Dam Rong districts, Bidoup – Nui Ba National Park, mountain evergreen broad-leaved and mixed forest (with Pinus kesiya) at elevation 1600–1800 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb in shady place along rocky mountain stream. Not common. 21 February 2023, L. Averyanov, Nguyen Van Canh, Nong Van Duy, AL 2173. Living plant only.
