Pendulous epiphyte on mossy trees on mountain top. Flowers white with light lilac tint. Common.

brevifolia and bamboo along tops of karst remnant limestone ridge at elev.
800 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on mossy trees. Locally abundant.

Primary mixed and coniferous humid evergreen forest (with Taxus, Podocarpus, Tsuga, Pseudotsuga and Xanthocyparis) on very steep slopes and along rocky ridge composed with solid crystalline highly eroded limestone at elevation 1200-1250 m a.s.l. around point 22°50′03.8″N 105°51′36.5″E.

Terrestrial creeping herb in shady placeas among mossy rocks along ridge edge. Not common.

Terrestrial herb with inflorescence to 1.5 m long in shady places among rocks. Not rare.

km to NWW from Cao Bang town. Primary open coniferous mossy forest
(with Pseudotsuga brevifolia in 1 stratum) along tops of limestone karst
remnant ridge at 1400-1450 m alt. Terrestrial herb on shadow rock
crevices. Not rare.

vicinities Ca Lu village, about 7-8 km to SE from Yen Lac village (N
22°44′ E 105°50′), about 38 km to NWW from Cao Bang town. Old open
mixed semideciduous and coniferous (with Pseudotsuga brevifolia) primary
forest along tops of limestone ridge and on steep slopes near ridge
tops at 1350-1450 m alt. Terrestrial herb up to 1 m hg in shadow
canyons. Flowers: tepals yellowish-green, lip yellowish-white with
yellow spot near epichile base. Common.

Primary coniferous forest with Pseudotsuga sinensis along highly eroded rocky limestone ridge at elevation about 1300 m a.s.l.

Rosulate lithophyte on shady mossy rocks. Leaves dark gray to almost black cliff. Not rare.

white with green spots at base of lip. Occasional and widespread.

Lithophyte on mossy rocks in shady places on mountain tops. Flowers white. Very common.

tops of limestone karst remnant ridge at elev. 1200-1250 m a.s.l.
Lithophytic shrublet up to 0.5 m hg on open mossy cliffs. Rare.
