Ha Giang prov., Quan Ba distr., Tung Vai commune, Lung Kho village, around point 23º02ʹ55.0ʺN 104º56ʹ01.4ʺE, steep rocky slopes near hill top composed with stratified highly eroded limestone at elevation 900–980 m a.s.l. Remnants of primary evergreen broad-leaved very humid forest. Achlorophyllous parasitic herb in shady place. Stem and floral bract light pale yellow, Flowers pure white, tepals on margin with purple tint. Not common. 18 October 2018, L. Averyanov, Nguyen Sinh Khang, T. Maisak, Truong Duc Thieu, VR 963.

S. Vietnam, Prov. Kon Tum, Distr. Dak Gley, about 3-4 km to the W of Dak Gley town. Secondary dry forest with bamboos rich in primary elements at 650-800.

Terrestrial root parasite. Not rare in bamboo assotiations. Flowers purple-violet.

Vietnam, Thua Thien – Hue Prov., A Luoi Distr., Hong Kim Municipality, Dut village, about 3 km to NE from point 16°17'54''N, 107°12'41''E near A Nor waterfall at elevation about 700-800 m a.s.l.

Wet closed secondary broad-leaved forest on very steep slopes of A Nor stream composed with shale and granite.

Achlorophyllous ground parasite on steep slopes along hill ridge. Flowers white, central tepal with yellow central spot. Rare.

S. Vietnam, Dak Lac Prov., Krong Bong Distr., Cu Pui Municipality,

elevation from Dak Tour village (12ø30'N, 108ø30'E) to main peak of

Chu Yang Sinh mt system (12ø24'N, 108ø26'E) along Dak Tour river (N

slope). Primary wet closed mountain broad-leaved and mixed forest on

granites along very steep shady slopes of river canyon at elev.

1500-1700 m. Chlorophylless root parasite up to 5 cm hg with white

stem scales in very steep river slope. Flowers white, central tepal

with yellow spot. Very rare.

Dak Lak Province, Lac District, southern part of Nam Kar Nature Reserve around point 12º16’10’’N 108º05’24’’E at elevations of about 600 m a.s.l. Open steep rocky slope in secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest with bamboo along road.

Parasitic achlorophyllous herb to 25 cm tall on rhizome of Globba sp. (Zingiberaceae). Flower buds dark violet. Not common.
