Vietnam, Dak Nong Prov., Dak Glong Distr., Dak Plao Municipality, steep mountain slopes along main ridge of Ta Dung mountain system at elevation 1700-1985 m a.s.l. around point of highest peak at 11º51’30’’N 108º02’08’’E.
Primary broad-leaved evergreen closed wet mossy cloudy forest on crystalline highly metamorphosed sandstone. Terrestrial herb up to 1.5 m tall on shady rocky slope. Tepals brown, lip white purple speckled. Rare.
