Slightly logged primary closed broad-leaved evergreen forest on slopes of mountains composed with shale, sandstone and occasionally granite. Epiphyte (on Dracontomelon duperreanum, Bischofia javanica, Michelia sp., Chisocheton paniculatus, Cinnamomum sp., Pometia pinnata, Pterospermum spp., Duabanga grandiflora) and lithophyte on shady steep slope of stream valley along stream. Very common.
