Primary and secondary dry evergreen and semideciduous broad-leaved forest on sandy alluvial terrace and slopes of river valley between karstic limestone hills at 180-220 m a.s.l. Secondary evergreen broad-leaved lowland and submontane forest on mountain slopes composed with sandstone at elevations 500–600 m a.s.l. Caulifloric tree 4-5 m tall on rocky stream slope. Not ripe fruits green with dense short back hairs (ripe fruits yellow, edible, sweet). Not common.
