Very steep mountain slopes composed of solid highly eroded karstic limestone at elevation 800–1000 m a.s.l. Remnants of primary evergreen broad-leaved and coniferous (with Calocedrus rupestris and Xanthocyparis vietnamensis) humid forest. Lithophytic rosulate herb on shady mossy vertical cliff. Leaves dark green above, almost gray-white below. Not common. 11 October 2019, L. Averyanov, Nguyen Sinh Khang, T. Maisak, VR 1569.

Vietnam, Quang Binh Prov., Bo Trach Distr., Tan Trach Municipality, about 0.5 km to E of A Rem village (17º23'32''N, 106º12'46''E). Primary closed coniferous forest (with Calocedrus rupestris) on steep slopes and on tops of rocky ridge composed with solid marble-like highly eroded solid crystalline limestone at elevation about 750-850 m a.s.l. Creeping lithophytic herb in shady steep rocky slope. Leaves deep green with light yellowish network of nerves. Rare. (no collection, photo only).

Vietnam, Ha Giang Prov., Quan Ba Distr, about 2 km to the NE of Quan Ba town, around point 23º05’49’’N, 105º01’00’’E at elevation about 1150 m a.s.l.

Primary coniferous forest with Calocedrus rupestris, Callitropsis vietnamensis and Pseudotsuga sinensis on rocky highly eroded marble-like limestone remnant mountains.

Creeping epiphyte on very steep mossy rocky slope. Flowers white, sepals with purple stripes. petals white with yellow to greenish tint, lip light yellow to white with purple markings. Very common.

Creeping lithophyte on shady rocky slope. Flowers white to yellowish, lip dirty violet. Very common.

Broad-leaved (and former coniferous forest with Calocedrus rupestris) evergreen forest on steep slopes and on tops of ridge composed with rocky crystalline solid marble-like highly eroded limestone at elev. 900 m a.s.l.

Clustering Lithophyte on shady rocky slope. Flowers white. Very common.

Terrestrial and lithophytic creeping herb. Leaves very deep green with 1 (3) white nerves. Not common.

Ridgetop with primary vegetation of Pinus kwangtungensis and Calocedrus macrolepis around point 21ø00'17"N, 104ø29'08"E at elev. 1242 m. Among rocks, on decayed wood. Stem stiff green with purple tint, leaves green, peduncle light green with white tomentum, bracts light green to red-brown at top, ovary light green, anther tepals green, inner tepals green at base white at tip and on lobes, two light green spots at center of lip. Rare.

Very steep mountain slopes composed of solid highly eroded karstic limestone at elevation 800–1000 m a.s.l. Remnants of primary evergreen broad-leaved and coniferous (with Calocedrus rupestris and Xanthocyparis vietnamensis) humid forest. Lithophytic and terrestrial ephemeroid herb in. Not common. 11 October 2019, L. Averyanov, Nguyen Sinh Khang, T. Maisak, VR 1575a.

Dendrobium fimbriatum Hook.

N. Vietnam, Hoa Binh prov., Mai Chau distr., Hang Kia municipality,
near Thung Ang village, mountain Tao Xinh (20º43'43''N, 104º51'21''E).
Primary broad-leaved evergreen dry forest with Calocedrus rupestris (?)
on remnant limestone highly eroded ridge at elev 1000-1100 m a.s.l.
Lithophytic herb up to 0.5 m hg on vertical cliffs. Flowers yellow,
lip with dark chestnut spot at the center. Very common.

Broad-leaved and coniferous (with Pinus kwangtungensis and Calocedrus rupestris) evergreen forest on steep slopes and on tops of ridge composed with rocky crystalline solid marble-like highly eroded limestone at elev. 1100-1300 m a.s.l. Son La Prov., Van Ho Distr., Van Ho comm., Hua Tat village, around point 20°46′21.7N 104°47′47.5E. Remnants of primary evergreen broad-leaved and mixed forest (with Pinus wangii) on very steep rocky slopes and on mountain tops composed with highly eroded karstic light gray marble-like limestone at elevation 1300-1350 m a.s.l. Treelet 6-8 m tall on rocky mountain top. Rare.

Son La Prov., Moc Chau Distr., Chieng Son comm., about 1 km to NE from Chieng Son Village, around point 20°46′02.0N 104°37′03.1E.
Remnants of primary broad-leaved evergreen forest on tops of hills composed with karstic highly eroded yellow-white limestone at elevation 1150-1250 m a.s.l.
Treelet 2 m tall on steep rocky slope near mountain top. Not common.
