N. Vietnam, prov. Cao Bang, distr. Tra Linh, municipality Quoc Toan, vicinities of Lung Tao village (N 22°45′ E 106°19′), about 12 km from Cao Bang town to the NNE. Primary semideciduous open broadleaved forest on steep slopes and bluffs of remnant limestone ridge at 600-800 m alt. Tree up to 5 m hg in shadow place. Ripe fruits black-violet. Not common.

Primary closed evergreen broadleaved forest on steep slopes and bluffs of remnant karst limestone ridge at 1200-1300 m elev. Climbing shrub up to 4-5 m hg in open places. Flowers white. Not common.

N. Vietnam, prov. Ha Giang, distr. Dong Van, municipality Ho Quang Phin, vicinities of Ta Xa village, 14-16 km to SSW of Dong Van town (N 23°16′ E 105°22′). Primary very wet mossy cloud mixed forest (with domination of Tsuga chinensis and Pinus kwangtungensis) along tops of karst remnant limestone ridge at 1550-1600 m elev. Climbing shrub up to 3 m hg in open rocks. Flowers white. Not common.

36-38 km to NE from Dalat city. Closed primary dry evergreen
broadleaved mt forest at 1550-1600 m alt. in 12-14 km from Bi Dup main
peak to the NNW (N 12° 08′, E 108° 39′).
Woody vine about 6-8 m lg. Flowers pale green. Not common.

N. Vietnam, Prov. Quang Binh, distr. Minh Hoa, 72 km to NWW from Dong Hoi, municipalite Thong Hoa, vicinities of Yen Son village, limestone massif Ke Bang (N 17°40′ E 105°57′). Remnant open evergreen primary broadleaved forest along river in alluvial
valley bottom between limestone ridges and mesas at 200 m alt.
Tree up to 10 m hg in open place. Flowers white, central petal with
lemon-yellow or dirty purple central spot. Rare.

Vientiane Prov., Vang Vieng Distr., Nathong village, about 5 km to the W of Vang Vieng town, Tham Kang Mt., around point 18°55′51.4”N 102°23′50.6”E.

Dry broad-leaved primary and secondary evergreen forest on very steep rocky slopes and on vertical cliffs of remnant highly eroded rocky limestone mountains composed by solid crystalline limestone at elevation 300-500 m.

Scandent shrub 3-4 m tall on open cliff, flowers white. Not common.

Highly degraded primary and secondary evergreen broadleaved forest on very steep rocky slopes of remnant limestone hills composed with highly eroded marble-like crystalline limestone at elev. 200-450 m a.s.l.

Scandent shrub to 3 m tall among secondary shrubs in alluvial slope at foothill of limestone mountain. Flowers white. Not common.

Primary broad-leaved evergreen submontane forest on very steep rocky shale southern slopes of Sa Mui Mountain.

Shrub 2-3 m tall along ridge edge, flowers white. Not common.

Vietnam, Dac Lac Prov., Buon Don Distr., Krong Na municipality, Yok Don NP, Yok Don Ridge around point 12°51′12”N 107°41′18”E.

Primary dry evergreen forest on thin gray soils derived from sandstone with quartzite dykes along ridge edge at elevation 300-350 m a.s.l.

Treelet 3-5 m tall. Flowers white, central tepal yellow at the base. Common.
