Caulifloric treelet 4-5 m tall on open steep rocky slope. Flowers bright orange. Not common.
S. Vietnam, Prov. Kon Tum, Distr. Dak Gley, about 6-7 km to the S of Dak Gley town (near Dak Tung village). Primary open semideciduous dry forest (disturbed by cutting) with domination of bamboos, Dipterocarpus and Lithocarpus at 650-750 m alt.
Tree up to 15 m high. Flowers yellow-violet, are used as a vegetables by national minority H'Lang.
