Vietnam, Lam Dong Prov., Lac Duong Distr., Da Chais Municipality, around point 12º05’27’N 108º39’43’’E, at elevation 2100-2300 m a.s.l. along main ridge of Bi Doup mt. Primary mossy wet coniferous forest with Fokienia hodginsii along main ridge. Tree 25-30 m tall and 2 m in diam. Alone dominant of coniferous forest.
