N. Vietnam, prov. Bac Can, distr. Ngan Son, Wind Pass on road Hanoi - Cao Bang (N 22°25′ E 105°55′) at about 700 m elev. Terrestrial herb on wet clay-lateritic soil on shales among limestone rocks in open secondary shrubs and short tall grasslands. Flowers white with pink tint toward sepal tips, sweet fragrant. Common.
