Ha Giang province, Quan Ba district, Tung Vai commune, Thang village. Remnant primary evergreen broad-leaved forest on slopes of limestone mountains, around point 23.05186° N 104.86735° E, at elevation of 1000-1100 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb about 20-30 cm tall, flower light blue, inside lower lip with dull white and yellowish green patches, locally common.
