Remnant primary evergreen broad-leaved forest on slopes of limestone mountains, at elevation of 350 m a.s.l., around point N 22°30′05″, E105°19′20″. Perennial herbs about 30-60 cm tall, creeping rhizome stem about 8-15 cm long, drided flower almost black inside and brown outside of perianth lobes, young fruits purplish, common in shaded places of bases and slopes, 12 May, 2020, Nguyen Sinh Khang, Nguyen Van Dzu & Trinh Xuan Thanh NSK 1330 (voucher specimen – HN).
