FLORA OF VIETNAM Rosaceae Eriobotrya elliptica Lindl. Ha Giang Prov., Quan Ba Distr., Tung Vai Commune, Kho My Village, around point 23.08460ºN 104.88377ºE steep rocky slopes composed with highly eroded limestone at elevation 1000–1250 m a.s.l. Primary evergreen broad-leaved very humid forest. Tree to 10 m tall with very hard timber used locally for agricultural tools and logged widely. Flowers white, very fragrant.
