FLORA OF VIETNAM
Fam. Orchidaceae Juss.
Dendrobium fimbriatum Hook.

N. Vietnam, Hoa Binh prov., Mai Chau distr., Hang Kia municipality,
near Hang Kia village (20º43'39''N, 104º53'43''E). Primary
broad-leaved evergreen wet forest on remnant limestone highly eroded
ridge at elev. 1100-1300 m a.s.l. Epiphyte and lithophyte on mossy
trees and rocks. Flowers pleasant fragrant (like Helianthus) bright
yellow, lip bright yellow with deep black-chestnut central spot. Very
common. No HAL 686 7 April 2001
