Thanh Hoa Prov., Thuong Xuan Distr., Bat Mot Municipality, Vin village, Xuan Lien Natural Reserve. Primary broad-leaved evergreen wet forest on shale at elevation 1000-1200 m a.s.l. around point 19°58’18.2’’N 104°59’24.0’’E. Undershrub 1-2 m tall in shady places along ridge edge. Flowers yellow. Common.
