Open secondary shrubs and remnants of secondary broad-leaved forest on slopes of A Nor stream composed with shale and granite. Climbing shrub. Fruits orange. Rare.

Secondary open broad-leaved evergreen lowland forest on granite and quartzite along river at elev. 300 m a.s.l. Climbing shrub 5-6 m hg. Flowers olive-green. Not common.

Remnants of primary and secondary broad-leaved evergreen forest on highly eroded rocky limestone hills at elevation 100-200 m a.s.l. around point 19°50’47.2’’N 105°14’42.7’’E. Shrub 2-2.5 m tall on shady, very steep, rocky slope. Fruits dirty orange. Not common.

Vietnam, Nghe An Prov., Tuong Duong Distr., Tam Quang Municipality, Tung Huong village, along Khe Mat stream around point 19є03’26’’N 104є37’22’’E at elevation about 200 m a.s.l. Lowland closed secondary evergreen forest on steep slopes along rocky stream valley composed with stratified solid shale and sandstone. Woody vine up to 20 m long in rather open place along steep rocky shady stream slopes. Flower buds dull yellowish-green. Locally common.

Not common.
