Old secondary broad-leaved evergreen humid forest on wet very steep alluvial slopes based on solid, marble-like highly eroded limestone at elevation of 600–800 m a.s.l. Terrestrial and lithophytic herb 0.7–0.8 m tall along rocky stream. Leaves above dark green, below dull purple or pale green. Flowers white. Not common.

Herbaceous epiphytic vine 1.5–2 m long on tree in open place on rocky side of small fresh-water natural lake. Flowers white to light greenish. Rare.
