Closed primary broadleaved mt. forest on E macroslope of Gia Rinh mt. ridge at 1300-1400 m alt. (N 12° 06', E 108° 43'). Terrestrial and epilite herb up to 0.3 m hg. Common. No VH 3542  02.04.1997. Remnants of primary and secondary broad-leaved evergreen forest on highly eroded rocky limestone hills at elevation 100-200 m a.s.l. around point 19°50'47.2"N 105°14'42.7"E. Primary broad-leaved closed forest on very steep rocky slope of remnant mountain composed with highly eroded solid crystalline limestone at elevation 400-500 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb on rocky slope. Secondary broad-leaved evergreen dry forest on very steep rocky mountain slopes composed by solid marble like highly eroded limestone at elev. 900-1000 m a.s.l. Terrestrial creeping herb in shady rocky slope. Common. Dry broad-leaved primary and secondary evergreen forest on very steep rocky slopes and on vertical cliffs of remnant highly eroded rocky limestone mountains composed by solid crystalline limestone at elevation 300-400 m. Terrestrial herb on shady slope. Leaves dark green, sometimes with unclear whitish longitudinal broad stripes. Fruit globular, 1-2 cm in diam., rugose, dirty black-purple. Locally very common. Terrestrial herb in shady place along small stream in remnants of shady secondary forest. Not common. 29 October 2013 CPC 6412 / 13265 Coll.: L.Averyanov, N.T.Hiep, N.S.Khang, L.M.Tuan Living plant. Flowered in cultivation in 25 October 2015. Flowers dark dirty brown-purple, free perianth lobes white to light yellowish. L.Averyanov.
