Dendrobium oligophyllum Gagnep.
Son La Prov., Quynh Nhai Distr., Ca Nang Comm., Pu Cau Mt., 600-900 m, about 2-4 km to NE of Quynh Nhai FPD Station, around point 21є50’10”N, 103є34’12”E, 203 m, medium part of slope of limestone mountains.
In heavily logged primary closed evergreen broad-leaved submontane forests and scrubs suffered from fire.
Epiphyte. Rare.

Vietnam, Tay Ninh Prov., Tan Bien Distr., Tan Binh Municipality, Ta Not FP Station, around point 11°37′43”N 105°52′26”E. Slightly logged primary closed evergreen broad-leaved lowland forest with the dominance of species of Dipterocarpaceae (Dipterocarpus dyeri, D. costatus, D. alatus, D. obtusifolius, Shorea sp.) mixed with Lagerstroemia calyculata, Irvingia malayana, Anogeissus acuminata, Sindora siamensis, Pterospermum sp., on thin soils at elevation about 13 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on bole of old tree in rather open place along with border of Dipterocarp woodland. Very rare. HLF 7696a 26 December 2008
