Flowers odorless; dorsal sepal and synsepalum greenish with dark olive center and white margin at apex; petals pale yellow green at base, light purple violet in apical half, with many glossy dark brown warts at basal half; lip brown; staminode brown with yellowish green margin; column light green. Epiphyte on tall trees near mountain top. Locally very common.

S. Vietnam, Prov. Lam Dong, distr. Lac Duong, municipalite Da Chay, 40 km to NE from Dalat city. Closed primary very wet broadleaved forest along stream canyon on SW macroslope of Hon Giao mt. ridge at 1600-1700 m alt. (N 12° 11', E 108° 43').

Terrestrial herb on shadow steep river canyon slopes. Flowers odourless, white, tepals with purple-violet stripes and rose-violet tips, epichile yellow with deep purple marks. Not rare.
