Primary wet closed mountain broad-leaved and mixed forest on granites along very steep shady slopes of river at elev. 1700 m. Epiphyte on high tree on very steep open slope of river canyon. Flowers red-purple. Rare.

Mixed and broad-leaved evergreen primary closed wet mt forest with Shorea stellata & Dacrycarpus imbricatus along narrow ridge and on very steep sandstone/shale slopes. Epiphyte and lithophyte in shady place on waterfall cliffs. Flowers light yellowish-green.

Locally abundant.

Vietnam, Quang Binh Prov., Bo Trach Distr., Tan Trach Municipality, about 1.5 km to SE of A Rem village (17º23'32''N, 106º12'46''E). Primary closed coniferous forest (with Calocedrus rupestris) on steep slopes and on tops of rocky ridge composed with solid marble-like highly eroded stratified crystalline limestone at elevation about 750-900 m a.s.l. Lithophyte and epiphyte (Calocedrus rupestris, Podocarpus neriifolius)on shady mossy vertical cliff. Very common.

white-yellowish, with purple side-lobes. Common.

Brownish-yellow saprophyte with inflorescence up to 1.5 m hogh. On shadow slopes of stream canyon. Not too rare. Sepals light yellow with small grey marks, petals light yellow with 3 violet stripes, hypochile light violet, mesochile and epichile light brown with light yellow spots on margins. Column light yellow.

Aphyllorchis annamensis Aver.

Vietnam, Dak Nong Prov., Dak Glong Distr., Dak Plao Municipality, steep mountain slopes along main ridge of Ta Dung mountain system at elevation 1700-1985 m a.s.l. around point of highest peak at 11º51’30’’N 108º02’08’’E. Primary broad-leaved evergreen closed wet mossy cloudy forest on crystalline highly metamorphosed sandstone. Terrestrial achlorophyllous light brownish saprophyte (stem with indistinct dirty violet marks) up to 1.4 m tall. Not common.

Nghe An Prov., Quy Chau Distr., Dien Lam Mun., on the trail to Phu Lon peak through Muc Pan locality. 19023'34.9'' N, 104052'39.9'' E, ca. 800 m, north slope. Scattered in the primary closed evergreen tropical seasonal broad-leaved submontane shaly, sandstone, rhiolit, deep soil. Perennial herb, saprophytic, up to 0.5 tall; flowers yellowish with violet traces.
