Submontane primary evergreen closed forest on very steep mountain slopes composed with stratified solid shale. Epiphyte on tall mossy tree. Sepals and petal yellowish, lip yellowish with purple sidelobes and deep purple central three keels and yellowish epichile. Common.

Clustering epiphyte on old mossy trees. Not rare.

Flowers yellow, tepals with deep purple margins, lip yellow with deep purple striation, column light green, pollinia bright yellow. Occasional, but sometimes in large colonies.
