Severely degraded forest with remnants of good habitat protected by sheer limestone rock faces along ridge, 23°06′57″N, 105°01′48″ at 650-750 m. Lithophytic vine to 1 m. Primary wet mossy mixed forest with Tsuga chinensis on very steep slope of karst remnant limestone ridge at 1400-1500 m alt. Lithophyte. N. Vietnam, prov. Cao Bang, distr. Bao Lac, municipality Yen Lac, vicinities of Yen Lac village (N 22°44′ E 105°50′), about 44 km to NWW from Cao Bang town. Primary open coniferous mossy forest along tops of limestone remnant karst ridge at 1500 m alt. Epilite. Flowers fine smelled, white, lip sidelobes stripped with purple, epichile with yellow center. Very common.
