Photos and herbarium specimen (HNU 021787) were prepared from the plant cultivated in Hanoi University of Pharmacy Botanical Garden in August – September 2017.

Vietnam, Son La Province. Wild collected plant purchased on plant marked in Son La Province, Pha Din Pass by Nguyen Van Canh in 2018 and cultivated by Nguyen Van Canh in his private garden in Buon Ma Thuot Town. Herbarium and photographs were prepared on 23 July 2020 by Truong Ba Vuong and Nguyen Van Canh, BV 750 (voucher herbarium specimen – VNM 00069961, photo – LE01087221 https://en.herbariumle.ru/?t=occ&id=18803).
Note. The species does not look like any related species. With broadly triangular mid lobe, winged at base, wings apex rounded; mid lobe apex blunt. Side lobes yellow, rounded, oblique. Entrance spur narrowly rhombus callus, with lower margin ciliate; spur entrance white hairs; one narrowly terete, clavate, callus in middle of hypochile.

Vietnam, Ha Giang Prov., Bac Me Distr., Phieng Luong Municipality, about 1.5 km to SW of Phieng Luong Municipality headquarter (22º39’29’’N, 105º19’35’’E).
Heavily logged primary closed evergreen broad-leaved forest along rocky streamlet valley at the base of steep slopes of mountains composed with solid highly eroded crystalline and partially shale limestone at elev. about 900 m a.s.l.
Creeping epiphyte on tall tree. Flower buds greenish, sepals with brownish nerves. Rare.
Flowered in Hanoi Hiep garden at 19 March 2005. Flowers odorless, sepals light green with brown margin, petals brown with green marginal hairs, lip green-brown with deep brown hairs, column green with brown spots at the column foot, anther light yellow.

Hoa Binh Province, Lac Thuy District, Phu Thanh Commune, Tan Lam Village, secondary evergreen broad-leaved forests or dense scrubs on limestone mountains, at 150-250 m above sea level. Perennial rhizomatous herbs on soils or crevies rock of base and steep slopes of limestone mountains, flowers greenish or dull white speckled with purple dots and patches abaxially, apical lobes yellow on upper surface, perigone tubes purple to dark purple adaxial, adaxial surface of stigma white or cream white with decorated by radiately verrucose purple lines from middle to the margin, center with 2-4 heart or quinquangular shapes, locally common.
