Bulbophyllum stenobulbon Par. et Reichenb.f.

N. Vietnam, prov. Ha Giang, distr. Meo Vac, municipality Sung Chang,

vicinities of Lu Lu Phin village (N 23ø11' E 105ø18'). Primary mixed

mossy semideciduous open forest (with domination of Pseudotsuga

brevifolia and Tsuga chinensis) along tops of karst remnant limestone

ridge at 1350-1400 m elev. Epiphyte and lithophyte. Flowers yellow

with yellow-orange tips of tepals. Abundant.

Hoa Binh Prov., Lac Son Distr., Tu Do Municipality, Mon village, around point 20°24’52”N 105°19’41”E. Secondary evergreen dry broad-leaved forest on steep rocky slopes of remnant mountain composed with highly eroded marble-like solid crystalline limestone at elevation about 300 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on tall tree. Very common.

Broad-leaved evergreen wet secondary closed forest along rocky river valley and on river slopes. Creeping epiphyte on high trees. Rare.
