N.Vietnam, Cao Bang Prov., Trung Khanh Distr., Ngoc Khe Municipality, Pac Nga village, around point 22º54'59''N, 106º31'44''E, at elevation 800-850 m a.s.l. Remnants of primary broad-leaved and coniferous forest on ridge tops and on very steep slopes and cliffs of rocky ridges and mesae composed with light gray solid marble-like highly eroded crystalline limestone. Lithophyte and epiphyte. Flowers white, light yellowish, lip light yellowish with olive-green keels and orange epichile. Common.

Vietnam, Quang Binh Prov., Quang Ninh Distr., Truong Son municipality, around Long Son village at 17°13′11″N 106°26′58″E. Secondary dry forest on the top of highly eroded karst limestone hill composed with gray solid limestone above high vertical cliff along Long Dai River at elevation about 300 m a.s.l. Lithophytic and epiphytic undershrub on vertical cliff. Very common.

N. Vietnam, Bac Can prov., Na Ri distr., Kim Hy municipality, vicinities of Lung Hin Con village (N 22°17′ E 106°03′), 27 km to 55° of Bac Can city. Primary evergreen mixed mossy forest with Pseudotsuga brevifolia and bamboo along tops of karst remnant limestone ridge at elev. 650-700 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on high trees. Very common.

Primary broadleaved evergreen dry forest on very steep rocky slopes of karst remnant limestone ridge at elev. 300-450 m a.s.l. Epiphyte and occasional lithophyte. Common.
