Nghe An Prov., Ky Son Distr., Na Ngoi Municipality, north-eastern slopes of Phu Xai Lai Leng mountain system. Primary very humid broad-leaved forest with Cunninghamia konishii as emergent on steep mountain slopes composed of gray shale at elevation 1500-1800 m a.s.l. around point 19°13’52.9’’N 104°05’30.5’’E. Epiphyte on tall mossy trees. Not rare.

Stem stiff green with purple tint, leaves green, peduncle light green with white tomentum, bracts light green to red-brown at top, ovary light green, anther tepals green, inner tepals green at base white at tip and on lobes, two light green spots at center of lip. Rare.

Secondary evergreen broad-leaved wet submontane forest on very steep granite and quartzite slopes of river canyon. Terrestrial creeping herb in wet place. Flowers: lateral sepals brown-reddish with white tips and reddish spot, median sepal brownish-red with white tip, petals like side sepals, lip white, at base pink-brownish; column and anther white. Leaves light uniform green. Not common.

Terrestrial and lithophytic creeping herb. Leaves uniform green. Sepals whitish with brown-reddish spots, lip white. Locally common.

Secondary forest on top of ridge on eroded granite soils (22ø02'31"N, 103ø58'32"E - 22ø02'57"N, 103ø58'35"E) at elev. 700-1113 m. Terrestrial herb. Stems succulent, sometimes with red, peduncle red-green, bracts red-pink, young ovary dull green, lateral tepals dull red-green with white then dull red at tip, lower lip similar, 2-lip petals forming hood over rostellum, bright white, pink at base. Rare.

Terrestrial creeping herb in shady places at elev. 1600 m. Leaves uniform dark green. Not common.
