Epiphyte in shady place on mossy trees. Flowers olive green. Common.

Primary wet closed mountain broad-leaved and mixed forest on granites along very steep shady slopes of river canyon at elev. 1500-1700 m. Lithophyte on wet shady waterfall mossy cliffs along river canyon. Tepals green, lip deep violet. Not common.

opposite side NW-facing, on hard, highly eroded, marble-like limestone.

Burretiodendron as first canopy level, some large trees (25 m+). Collected with

N.T. Hiep, L.V. Averyanov, B. Hall and N.Q. Hung.

N.Vietnam, Thanh Hoa Prov., Ba Thuoc Distr., Co Lung Municipality, Khuyn village, around point 20o26'31''N, 105o14'55''E. Primary evergreen seasonal broad-leaved and coniferous submontane forest on crystalline marble-like highly eroded limestone, tops of limestone ridge at elev. 700-800 m. Lithophyte and occasionally epiphyte. Flowers green. Very common.

N. Viet Nam. Ha Giang Province, Quang Ba District, at Sin Suoi Ho
village on east side of Sin Suoi Ho river. Degraded forest along north
slope and along ridge, exposed limestone rock outcrops at elev. about
1100 m (23°07′N 105°02′E). Lithophyte on flanks of rocks at ridgetop.
Pedicels green, corolla all light clear orange. Occasionally.

Vietnam, Quang Binh Prov., Bo Trach Distr., Tan Trach Municipality, about 1.5 km to SE of A Rem village (17º23'32''N, 106º12'46''E).

Primary closed coniferous forest (with Calocedrus rupestris) on steep slopes and on tops of rocky ridge composed with solid marble-like highly eroded stratified crystalline limestone at elevation about 750-900 m a.s.l.

Lithophyte on vertical cliff. Flowers olive-green, later dull orange. Common.

Heavily logged primary closed evergreen broad-leaved forest on slopes and tops of mountains composed with solid highly eroded crystalline limestone at elev. about 900-1150 m a.s.l.

Lithophytic herb on vertical cliffs. Flowers dull orange. Occasional.

outcrops. Ovary green, tepals clear light orange.
