Primary and secondary broad-leaved evergreen dry forest on solid rocky highly eroded limestone at elev. 1200-1450 m a.s.l.

Clustering epiphyte on tall mossy trees. Common.

Hoa Binh, Mai Chau District, Hang Kia Municipality; near Pa Co municipal buildings, trail west to one of tallest

peak in Pa Co; trail from building approx. 2 km, then up ridge. Collections from highly impacted forest close to

logging, all large valuable trees removed and no valuable orchids left. Forest on limestone between 20.45.37 N,

104.53.37 E, 1344m to peak at 20.45.41 N, 104.53.59 E at 1400m. Collected with N.T. Hiep, L.V. Averyanov, B. Hall, P.H. 7 Dec 2002

Vietnam, Quang Binh Prov., Minh Hoa Distr., Dan Hoa municipality, Chuong Lon mountain, Vietnam-Laotian border, about 6 km to N of Cha Lo borders station, around point 17°44’04’’N 105°46’53’’E.

Primary broad-leaved forest on very steep slopes and rocky cliffs of remnant mountain composed with solid marble-like highly eroded limestone at elevation 400-700 m a.s.l.

Epiphyte on tall trees. Not rare.

Pseudotsuga sp., Taxus sp., and Acer sp. as dominants along ridge

and below peak around point 23ø09'N, 104ø59'E at elev. 1100-1200

m. Epiphyte. Rare.
