Primary coniferous forest with Pinus kwangtungensis and Calocedrus rupestris on very steep rocky slopes of remnant mountain composed with highly eroded solid limestone at elevation 1000-1150 m a.s.l.

Creeping lithophytic herb on open mossy rocks. Flowers white, lip with green central spot. Common.

Primary closed coniferous forest (with Calocedrus rupestris) on steep slopes and on tops of rocky ridge composed with solid marble-like highly eroded solid crystalline limestone at elevation about 750-850 m a.s.l.

Terrestrial and lithophytic herb. Flowers white, lip with two green spots on mesochile. Leaves dull green. Common.

Heavily logged primary and secondary closed evergreen broad-leaved forest and scrub on rocky ridge composed with solid and stratified marble-like highly eroded crystalline limestone at elevation 550-650 m a.s.l.

Terrestrial herb on shady steep slope. Leaves with whitish broad central stripe. Not common.

village and river. Degraded agricultural land among limestone rocks to

ridgetop of exposed limestone under light canopy with many epiphytes

and lithophytes on north and east facing slopes, at 23ø06'57"N,

105ø01'48"E, at 514-900 m. On rocks. Stem red-purple, fleshy, leaves

deep green, inflorescence petioles pink-red and dull, bract dull

red-brown, fruit (immature) deep green, corolla white. Occasional.

Degraded primary coniferous forest with Pseudotsuga sinensis, Tsuga chinensis and Pinus sp. on very steep rocky slopes and along tops of narrow rocky remnant ridge composed with highly eroded marble-like limestone.

Terrestrial and lithophytic herb on very steep rocky mossy slope. Flowers white, lip with two light green spots at the center. Occasional.

Vientiane Prov., Vang Vieng Distr., Na Khun Village, around point 18°52’28”N 102°24’21”E.

Remnants of primary evergreen broadleaved forest on flat alluvial valley at the base of high remnant hills composed with solid marble-like highly eroded rocky limestone at elevation around 300 m a.s.l.

Lithophytic creeping herb on large mossy boulders at the base of limestone hill. Sepals dull pinkish-brown, petals and lip pure white. Locally common.
