Regularly leafless epiphyte on mossy tree on rocky slope. Flowers fragrant with very pleasant odor. Tepals light violet, lip dark purple-violet. Locally very common, particularly near mountain top.

Occasional small leaves about 2 cm lg and 1 cm wide, deep green above, light violet below. Flowers: tepals light violet, lip deep violet, column light with whitish stripes, sidelobes violet with yellow. Locally common. Anther yellow.

Epiphyte with numerous flat green roots adpressed to the bark. Leaves 1-2, 3-7 cm long, 2-3 cm wide, tepals including lip uniform brightly yellow, column white. Very rare.

Epiphyte and lithophyte in shady places. Occasional.
