Epiphyte in shady narrow stream canyon. Occasional.

Rich secondary broadleaved evergreen forest on very steep rocky slopes and cliffs composed with eroded sandstone at elev. 400-500 m a.s.l. Lithophytic herb on large shady mossy boulders on very steep humid rocky slope. Flowers white with light yellowish tint, lip with brown spot at the middle. Not common.

Epiphyte on tall trees on rocky stream valley slopes. Very common. Co-dominant in epiphytic plant communities.

Heavily logged primary and secondary closed evergreen broad-leaved forest and scrub on rocky ridge composed with solid and stratified marble-like highly eroded crystalline limestone at elevation 550-650 m a.s.l.

Epiphyte (on Phyllanthus sp., Pistacia cucphuongensis, Memecylon sp., Quercus sp.) along tops of ridge. Not rare.
