Canopy epiphyte on small trees along stream. Not common.

Dry Dipterocarp woodlands and wet grasslands on thin ferralite soils at elevation about 13 m a.s.l. Epiphytic erect shrub ti 0.6 m tall on old Dipterocarp tree. Tepals white with small purple marks, lip purple-violet. Very rare.

Slightly logged primary closed evergreen broad-leaved lowland forest with the dominance of species of Dipterocarpaceae (Dipterocarpus dyeri, D. costatus, D. alatus, D. obtusifolius, Shorea sp.) mixed with Lagerstroemia calyculata, Irvingia malayana, Anogeissus acuminata, Sindora siamensis, Pterospermum sp., on thin soils at elevation about 13 m a.s.l. Epiphyte in shady place. Very rare.

Leaves velvety deep-green, with median longitudinal white stripe. Occasional.

Collections from highly impacted forest close to logging, all large valuable trees removed and no valuable orchids left. Forest on limestone between 20.45.37 N, 104.53.37 E, 1344m to peak at 20.45.41
