Flowers yellowish with purple tint outside tepals, lip yellowish, tepals with circular dull pink-brown spots, later flowers dull yellow, not smelled. Collected from plants offered for sale by local dealers along road. Not rare ?

Northern Vietnam, Ninh Binh Prov., Cuc Phuong National Park. Closed secondary broadleaved evergreen forest on limestone valley 200-300 m a.s.l. Terrestrial ground leafless achlorophyllous saprophytic white herb in shady place. Flowewrs bright yellow. Very rare.

Bac Kan Prov. Na Ri District; An Tinh Township and Community, Na Duуng Village; Kim Hy National Protected Area. Collections along second ridge E of main road through village; in mostly secondary, dry, broadleaved, evergreen forest on limestone; on sometimes sheer to very steep E-facing to SE-facing slope on hard, highly eroded, marble-like limestone (karst). 2 localities for GPS. Collections between 22.13.03 N, 106.04.2 at 723m elevation and 22.13.01 N, 106.04 E at 754m elevation.

Secondary broad-leaved evergreen dry forest on very steep rocky mountain slopes composed by solid marble like highly eroded limestone at elev. 1100-1200 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on mossy tree on shady steep rocky slope. Not rare.

Primary and secondary broad-leaved evergreen forest on very steep rocky mountain slopes composed by shaly limestone at elev. 1100-1200 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on tall mossy tree. Fruit 5-7 cm long. Locally common.

N. Vietnam, prov. Cao Bang, distr. Ha Lang, municipality Thanh Nhat (N 22°41′ E 106°40′), about 42 km to E from Cao Bang town. Primary open coniferous and mixed semideciduous forest along tops of remnant limestone ridge at 600 m alt. Epiphyte shrub with pendant or erect shoots up to 0.5 m lg. Common.

N. Vietnam, prov. Cao Bang, distr. Ha Lang, municipality Dong Loan, vicinities of Ban Lung and Lung Phuc (N 22°46′ E 106°44′), about 50 km to E from Cao Bang town. Open primary evergreen broadleaved closed forest on steep slopes and cliffs of limestone ridge at 500-600 m alt. Epiphyte. Rare.

Not rare.
