Eria pusilla

Border area between Phieng Luong municipality (Ha Giang Prov., Bac Me Distr.) and Sinh Long municipalitiy (Tuen Quang Prov., Na Hang Distr.). Primary broad-leaved humid evergreen and mixed forest on very steep slopes and along rocky ridge composed with solid crystalline highly eroded limestone at elevation 1100-1170 m a.s.l. around point 22°38’24.3’’N 105°20’21.3’’E. Epiphytic creeping herb on mossy trees in humid place on slopes and along ridge edge. Flowers white to very light yellowish. Very common.

Eria lasiopetala (Willd.) Ormerod?

Borikhamxai Prov., Khamkeut Distr., Dan Khum Ngan locality, Watershed Managing Protected Authority (WMPI) region around point 17°57’32”N 105°01’05”E.

Open primary broadleaved forest on thin soils and on flat granite outcrops at elevation around 538 m a.s.l.

Creeping and clustering lithophyte in crevices of open granite outcrops. Locally very common.

Eria lasiopetala (Willd.) Ormerod

Laos, Vientiane prov., Vang Vieng district, close vicinities of Vang Vien town, Phu Ngeum Mt., secondary degraded evergreen forest on steep rocky slopes and cliffs composed with karstic highly eroded marble-like limestone at elevation at 350-500 m a.s.l. Creeping epiphyte on mossy gnarled tree on mountain top. Very common.

Lithophytic herb on exposed mossy rocks. Flowers yellow. Very common.

S. Vietnam, Prov. Lam Dong, distr. Lac Duong, municipalite Da Chay,

32.5 km to NE from Dalat city (N 12° 07', E 108° 41'). Very old open

secondary cloud mossy mixed forest with domination of Pinus kesiya,

Lyonia sp. and Lithocarpus sp. along ridge on NNW macroslope

of Bi Dup mt system at 1700-1800 m alt.

Epiphyte. Tepals and lip pure white, fl. bracts brightly yellow.

Not common.

NE slopes on Nui Chua mountains to SW of point 11o43'52''N

109o08'35''E at elev. about 800-950 m a.s.l.

Primary evergreen closed dry forest on rocky mountain slopes composed

with granite.

Epiphyte. Flowers very fragrant (Viola odorata), tepals pure white,

lip white with light lemon-yellow central keels. Not common.

Ha Giang Province, leafless epiphyte, flowers yellow with dark orange color blotches at basal half, 2 calli, the lower glabrous, bi-lobed apex callus and one above hairy callus (V shaped), at base with low callus.
