Primary evergreen mixed humid forest on rocky limestone on highly eroded karstic hills composed with gray solid marble-like limestone at elevation 1100-1200 m a.s.l. Lithophytic herb with ascending stems to 40 cm long on mossy rocky shady slope. Leaves green with dirty purple-violet spots, flowers yellowish, lip white with light brownish-purple spots. Occasional.

Primary evergreen broad-leaved very humid forest. E epiphyte on mossy tree. Not common. 21 April 2018, L. Averyanov, Nguyen Sinh Khang, Nguyen Tien Hiep, Nguyen Quang Hieu, Chuong Quang Ngan, T. Maisak, VR 510 / 6 (living plant only).

Primary broad-leaved closed wet forest on very steep rocky slopes and cliffs of low remnant mountains composed with highly eroded solid marble-like limestone at elevation about 700-800 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on mossy tree in shady place. Not common.

Closed primary broadleaved mt forest on NW macroslope of Bi Dup mt system at 1850-1950 m alt. Epiphyte in shadow places. Flowers yellow, tepals with purple-brownish spots, lip yellow, gypochile with purple-brownish spots, center of epichile brightly yellow, margin- white. Not rare.

Vietnam, Thanh Hoa Prov., Muong Lat Distr. at elev. about 600-800 m a.s.l. Broad-leaved evergreen lowland forest on slopes of remnant mountains composed with solid highly eroded crystalline limestone. Epiphyte. Flowers with unpleasant smell of decaying protein. Sepals and petals dark olive-green with numerous deep purple-brown spots; lip white (hypochile with light green tint) with brown-purple spots; operculum very light yellow heavily brown-purple spotted at the base; ovary deep green with purple-brown tint, purple-brown spotted at the base. Very rare.

Achlorophyllous saprophytic creeping epiphytic vine up to 5 m long. Flowers brightly yellow, lip side-lobes with orange-red striation. Stem at the base deep purple-brown. Common.

light yellow to yellow. Rare.

Flickingeria xanthochelia Aver. sp.nov.

Hoa Binh Prov., Lac Son Distr., Tu Do Municipality, Mon village, around point 20°24’52”N 105°19’41”E. Secondary evergreen dry broad-leaved forest on steep rocky slopes of remnant mountain composed with highly eroded marble-like solid crystalline limestone at elevation about 300 m a.s.l. Creeping epiphyte on tall tree. Locally abundant.

Northern Vietnam, Ninh Binh Prov., Nho Quan Distr., Cuc Phuong

Municipality, Cuc Phuong National Park, Dang locality, about 1 km WNW

of Dang Forest Control point, 20ø16'28''N, 105ø40'57''. Secondary

closed evergreen seasonal broad-leaved lowland forest on limestone

hills at elev. about 400 m a.s.l. Lithophyte and epiphyte on mossy

rocky outcrops on top of hill. Flowers: tepals light yellowish with

green tint, lip light yellowish with orange epichile. Common.
