Gastrochilus obliquus (Lindl.) Kuntze
Vietnam, Tay Ninh Prov., Tan Bien Distr., Tan Binh Municipality, Ta Not FP Station, around point 11°37’43”N 105°52’26”E.
Slightly logged primary closed evergreen broad-leaved lowland forest with the dominance of species of Dipterocarpaceae (Dipterocarpus dyeri, D. costatus, D. alatus, D. obtusifolius, Shorea sp.) mixed with Lagerstroemia calyculata, Irvingia malayana, Anogeissus acuminata, Sindora siamensis, Pterospermum sp., on thin soils at elevation about 13 m a.s.l.
Epiphyte on boles of old trees in shady places. Flowers white, tepals yellowish to the apex, Lip white with small purple marks. Rare.
