Hen (Ba Tri) mountain system (20º54'09''N, 105º12'15''E). Remnants of

primary forest among secondary wet broad-leaved evergreen forest with

bamboo on very steep mountain slopes based on shale and sandstones

with quartzite at 900-1150 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb on very steep

shady wet slope. Flowers: tepals light greenish, with pink-violet

tint, lip light greenish, sidelobes deep violet. Occasional.

Primary closed evergreen broad-leaved submontane forest on steep granite and quartzite mountain slopes at elev. 800-1200 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb on wet shady slope. Flowers greenish with violet tint. Not rare.

Heavily logged primary closed evergreen broad-leaved forest along rocky streamlet valley at the base of steep slopes of mountains composed with solid highly eroded crystalline and partially shale limestone at elev. about 900 m a.s.l. Epiphyte in shady place on mossy trees. Flowers olive green. Common.

Epiphytic and terrestrial herb on mossy very steep slopes and cliffs along ridge edge. Flowers light pure green. Not common.

Primary closed coniferous forest (with Calocedrus rupestris) on steep slopes and on tops of rocky ridge composed with solid marble-like highly eroded stratified crystalline limestone at elevation about 750-900 m a.s.l.

Lithophyte on vertical cliff. Flowers olive-green, later dull orange. Common.

1500-1700 m. Chlorophylless root parasite up to 5 cm hg with white

stem scales in very steep river slope. Flowers white, central tepal

with yellow spot. Very rare.

Achlorophyllous ground parasite on steep slopes along hill ridge. Flowers white, central tepal with yellow central spot. Rare.

mt river on NW macroslope of Bi Dup mt system at 1450 m alt.

Terrestrial herb in shadow sandy place near stream. Flowers

greenish-violet. Not common.

Primary broad-leaved humid evergreen and mixed forest on very steep slopes and along rocky ridge composed with solid crystalline highly eroded limestone at elevation 1100-1170 m a.s.l. around point 22°38’24.3’’N 105°20’21.3’’E.

Epiphyte on mossy trees in shady humid place on rocky slope of limestone mountain. Flowers yellowish, lip and column light brown. Not common.

Hoa Binh Prov., Tan Lac Distr., Ngo Luong municipality, Tram Hai village, around point 20°28’15”N 105°17’21”E. In heavily logged evergreen broad-leaved forest on slope of limestone mts., at elevation about 780-850 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on woody vine. Flowers purple. Rather common.

Vietnam, Dak Nong Prov., Dak Glong Distr., Dak Som Municipality, around point 11º53’06’’N 107º55’15’’E at elevation about 800 m a.s.l. in vicinities of Dak Som village. Open shrubby and grassy swamp along stream in depression between low hills composed with basalt. Terrestrial tuberiferous herb. Sepals brown-purple. lateral sepals with yellow-brown median stripe, lip deep purple-brown, column white. Locally common.
