Remnants of primary broad-leaved evergreen lowland forest on rocky remnant highly eroded solid marble-like limestone hills and low mountains with very steep slopes and vertical cliffs. Epiphyte on shady slope. Flowers sweet fragrant, yellowish, tepals with two reddish stripes. Rare.

Vientiane Prov., Vang Vieng Distr., Nathong village, about 5 km to the W of Vang Vieng town, Tham Kang Mt., around point 18°55’51.4”N 102°23’50.6”E.
Dry broad-leaved primary and secondary evergreen forest on very steep rocky slopes and on vertical cliffs of remnant highly eroded rocky limestone mountains composed by solid crystalline limestone at elevation 300-500 m.
Epiphyte on shady slope on Streblus illicifolius. Flowers pale yellow. Very common.

Primary mixed broad-leaved and coniferous forest with Pinus latteri and P. krempfii along ridge edge. Epiphytic and lithophytic herb. Flowers light greenich, lip white to yellowish-green. Locally common.

Vietnam, Lam Dong Prov., Lac Duong Distr., Da Chais Municipality, around point 12°05′27′N 108°39′43″E, at elevation about 2300 m a.s.l. along main ridge of Bi Doup mt. Primary mossy wet coniferous forest with Fokienia hodginsii along main ridge. Epiphyte on mossy tree in cloudy gnarled coniferous forest with bamboo. Flowers green, lip green-yellowish with deep green apex. Very rare.

Vietnam, Quang Binh Prov., Minh Hoa Distr., Dan Hoa municipality, Vietnam-Laotian border, around Cha Lo military station, point 17º42’50’’N 105º45’54’’E. Broad-leaved primary forest on very steep slopes and along ridge of remnant mountain composed with highly eroded solid marble-like gray limestone at elevation 500-750 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on mossy trees on vertical cliff. Not common.
