Remnants of primary broad-leaved evergreen forest on tops of hills composed with karstic highly eroded yellow-white limestone at elevation 1150-1250 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb in shady rocky place. Not common.

Dak Nong province, Krong No district, Nam Nung commune, Nam Nung natural conservation area, lithophytic or rarely terrestrial herb, on very steep slopes or shady cliffs near mountain tops in semi-evergreen broad-leaved forests dominant by Dipterocarpaceae (Dipterocarpus alatus, Hope asp., and Lagerstromia spp.) at elevation 600–800 m, flowering time April – May, collected at 26 April 2017, Nguyen Huy Phong, AL 397, voucher herbarium specimen is deposited in Herbarium of the National Institute of Medicinal Materials, Hanoi (NIMM).

Highly degraded primary and secondary evergreen broadleaved forest on very steep rocky slopes of remnant limestone hills composed with highly eroded marble-like crystalline limestone at elev. 200-450 m a.s.l. Terrestrial rosulate herb among rocks on very steep shady rocky slope. Leaves dark glossy green with median broad whitish stripe. Occasional.

Miniature terrestrial and lithophytic herb on steep shady rocky slope. Occasional. Seeds collected only.

Primary evergreen broad-leaved wet forest on very steep mountain slopes and cliffs composed with shale and sandstone at elevation about 800-900 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb in shady rocky place. Flowers green, sometimes with light violet tint. Common.

Plant received from Hanoi street market, originated expectedly from lowland areas of NE Vietnam. Flowers odorless, white, later yellowish; sepals with 2 purple stripes; petals with 1 purple stripe; lip light pale yellowish, epichile pale light brownish; column and operculum white.

Highly destroyed primary and secondary broadleaved evergreen open forest along rocky river canyon composed with shale and sandstone at elev. about 300 m a.s.l.

Epiphyte on shady trees along river valley. Flowers dull yellow, tepals brownish-purple at the base, lip white. Common.

Remnants of primary evergreen broad-leaved lowland forest on very steep hill slopes composed with stratified shale and sandstone at elev. about 250-300 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on shady trees along rocky small stream. Flowers yellowish, tepals with reddish stripes, lip apex yellowish. Not common.
