Dry broad-leaved primary and secondary evergreen forest on very steep rocky slopes and on vertical cliffs of remnant highly eroded rocky limestone mountains composed by solid crystalline limestone at elevation 300-900 m.
Epiphyte at elevation 300-500 m. Tepals yellowish to almost white, lip apex purple-violet. Common.

Epiphyte in shady places on mossy rocky mountain top. Flowers odorlrss, tepals white with pink tint, lip purple. Very common.

Dry Dipterocarp woodlands and wet grasslands on thin ferralite soils at elevation about 13 m a.s.l. Epiphytic erect shrub ti 0.6 m tall on old Dipterocarp tree. Tepals white with small purple marks, lip purple-violet. Very rare.

Vietnam, Quang Binh Prov., Bo Trach Distr., Tan Trach Municipality, about 0.5 km to E of A Rem village (17º23'32''N, 106º12'46''E). Primary closed coniferous forest (with Calocedrus rupestris) on steep slopes and on tops of rocky ridge composed with solid marble-like highly eroded solid crystalline limestone at elevation about 750-850 m a.s.l. Epiphyte (Calocedrus rupestris, Podocarpus neriifolius) on tops of ridge. Very rare.

Peduncle speckled red-purple, pedicel orange-yellow, upper tepals orange-yellow at base with red spots on lobes, lower tepals deep red inside, rostellum orange-deep red and orange medially. Locally very common.

Primary and secondary broad-leaved evergreen forest on very steep slopes and on tops on remnant hills composed with highly eroded solid crystalline marble-like gray limestone at elevation 350-450 m a.s.l. Creeping epiphytic and lithophytic vine to 10 m long. Flowers brightly red. Common.
