Lithophytic perennial herb, growing on rocks in shaded and humid areas on steep slopes of mountains, elevation above 300 m a.s.l., not common.

Lithophytic perennial herb, rhizome branching and creeping, stem up to 35 cm long, young shoots purplish, growing on rocks in shaded and humid areas on steep slopes of mountains, elevation above 300 m a.s.l., not common.

Lithophytic perennial herb, creeping rhizome up to 20 cm long, deep olive green tinged by pale silvery white paths and silvery white veins on adaxial leaf surface; abaxially brown-red leaves; growing on rocks in shaded and humid areas on steep slopes of mountains, elevation above 300 m a.s.l., locally common.

Terrestrial perennial herb up to 50 cm, flower buds pure white, scattered along the way to the top, from elevation above 350 m a.s.l., not common.

Lao Cai Prov., Sapa Distr., the territory of Hoang Lien National Park allied to Sapa Town, route to Ham Rong mountain, around point N 22º20’02’’ E 103º50’55”, elevation 1600-1680 m a.s.l. Humid mossy secondary forest and scrub on very steep slopes of mountain composed with solid marble-like highly eroded limestone on the territory of town botanical garden. Terrestrial creeping herb in shady place between mossy limestone rocks. Occasional.
