Terrestrial and lithophytic small undershrub on open rocky wet slope. Flowers white-greenish. Not common.

Flowers pink-purple, anthers yellow. Locally very common.

Evergreen tree about 6 m tall. Syconia light green to deep purple-violet. Very common.
