Son La Prov., Phu Yen Distr., Muong Thai Comm., N of Khoai Lang vill., Ta Xua Nature Reserve, 700-900 m, about 4 km to N of Ban Chieu FP Station (around point 21020’16” N, 104041’09” E), medium part of slope of mountains on sandy stone, foot of limestone mts.

In slightly and heavily logged primary closed evergreen broad-leaved submontane forests

Terrestrial, clustered; flowers white.

Quang Ninh Province, Van Don special administrative region, Bai Tu Long National Park, Cai Lim protection sector, around point 21º06’04’’N 107º33’86’’E. Young secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest on steep sandstone and limestone slope at elevation about 65-100 m a.s.l. along a forest trail. Terrestrial rhizomatous herb in a shady place. Flowers dirty violet. Locally common.

Young secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest with bamboo on steep sandstone and limestone slope at elevation about 80-150 m a.s.l. along forest trail. Terrestrial rhizomatous herb in shady place. Flowers dirty violet. Locally common.

Thanh Hoa Prov., Thuong Xuan Distr., Bat Mot Municipality, Ban Vin village, Xuan Lien Nature Reserve, shale mountains, around point 19°58’40’’N 104°59’00’’E, 980–1100 m. Clustered in primary closed evergreen seasonal tropical broad-leaved submontane forests on ridges and slopes of shale mountains. Saprophyte. Flowers ivory white.
