Central Vietnam, Quang Tri province, Dakrong district, Dakrong commune, around point 16.614583°N 106.863556°E, 150–200 m a.s.l., shady reclined slopes in assemblage with Lysimachia insignis, Pachystylidium hirsutum, Tropidia angulosa and Impatiens sp. Flowers in August – September, fruits in December – May. Common. 25 August 2018, Le Tuan Anh, Hoang Le Tuan Anh, LTA 536.
