Ninh Thuan province, Ninh Hai district, Vinh Hai commune, Vinh Hy Bay, Nui Chua National Park, about 400 m a.s.l., epiphyte on small trees along streams in seasonal lowland tropical forest, 2015, Pham Ngoc Lien s.n. Collected living plant later cultivated by Dinh Thao. Specimen for herbarium was fixed in 24 March 2016, Luu Hong Truong, Tran Gioi and Pham Ngoc Lien, Luu et al., 1215 (SGN, LE).
