Cleisostoma melanorachis Aver. et Averyanova Type

N. Vietnam, Prov. Cao Bang, distr. Tra Linh, municipalite Quoc Toan,
vicinity of Thang Heng and Lung Tao villages near Thang Heng lake.
Remnant closed evergreen primary broadleaved forest on steep slopes and
bluffs of limestone ridges and mesas near karst lake at 500-650 m alt.
Epiphytie on shadow rocky slopes and bluffs. Tepals light pink with
yellow tint, lip and spur purple-violet, sidelobes yellow. Not common.
