Kham Mouan Prov., Ma Ha Xay Distr., Than En village, around point 17°27’09.1”N 104°57’00.2”E. Very dry broad-leaved secondary semideciduous open forest and scrub on rocky crystalline limestone. Lithophytic palm-like plant with erect stem to 3(5) m tall forming ovoid or globular caudex to 0.5 m in diam., on exposed vertical cliffs and on rocky tops of limestone mountains at elevation about 300 m. Locally very common. Female specimen.
