Vietnam, Quang Binh Prov., Bo Trach Distr.,Son Trach Municipality, around point 17º30'32''N, 106º17'45''E at elev. 300-400 m a.s.l.

Secondary closed broad-leaved evergreen forest and scrub on rocky steep slopes of remnant mountains composed with solid highly eroded crystalline deep gray limestone.

Lithophytic herb on vertical shady cliff. Flowers blue-violet, white inside. Locally common.
